Who Are We?
The Kelowna Canoe and Kayak Club (KCKC) is located in the sunny Okanagan Valley area of south central British Columbia. We are dedicated to all aspects of Lake and Sea Kayaking and Canoeing, bringing canoeists and kayakers together to share information, to develop and improve paddling skills, and to offer safe recreational trips.
We hold monthly meetings from late Winter through Fall, paddle outings throughout the summer, and weekends at local lakeside campsites where we paddle, train and socialize.
Throughout the season there are many opportunities to meet at our weekend camp outs, regular paddles, and perhaps a summer picnic.
We are a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteer members.
Why Join?
Membership brings you an immediate network of like-minded, active people. Regular club meetings feature videos and slides of club activities, trips, competitions and instructional films. Through this website, KCKC will keep you up to date on meetings and trips, impromptu activities, information on equipment for sale, and references to articles on canoeing and kayaking.
KCKC holds a general meeting at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month, February/March through to October, when we have our Annual General Meeting. Come along and learn more about the club!
These meetings are held at the community complex of 3370 Casorso Road (Unit 48). Please note there is limited parking so best to park in the street and walk in.
